City of Columbia Housing Programs announces community development needs public hearing

The City of Columbia Community Development Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The City estimates it will receive approximately $1,000,000 inCommunity Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $600,000 in HOME funds in FY 2022. The purpose ofthis hearing is to receive citizen input on identifying housing and community development needs withinthe community. Members of the community are encouraged to come and provide public comment regarding ourcommunity’s priority housing and community development needsFor further information contact the City of Columbia Housing Programs Division at573-874-7244.
